I have absolutely no hesitation in saying "Stop Sweating and Start Living" will soon put antiperspirant companies out of business.
I was reluctant at first to endorse any product but this book was different. The remedies it suggests are all-natural and target the root causes of problem sweating.
My only complaint is that it is only available as an instant access ebook. It can't be purchased in bookstores or on Amazon.com, but I'm sure the instant download feature is popular with people overseas and those who are ready to get started.
I strongly recommend "Stop Sweating and Start Living" to anyone who sweats excessively in the underarm, hand, foot, face or back areas.

Excessive sweating is a medical problem - this sometimes sound strange
but the irony is that for the person who is suffering from
it - it is a real problem and there seem less or no solution for this!
The
general view of people about this problem is that it generates
odor which is not socially okay and should be avoided. However
this condition
involves more than that! Let us discuss what are the medical
issues and details behind excessive sweating? The statistics and
records
show that around 1% of the total population of the whole world
suffers from excessive sweating but this figure may be more as
not all
the people suffering from excessive sweating go to doctors
for medical treatment.
Basics about excessive sweating
The basic medical explanation that is given for excessive sweating
is that a part of the sympathetic nervous system in your body is
responsible for this condition. This is an autonomous nervous system
and has two parts known as sympathetic and parasympathetic parts.
However excessive sweating does not constitute the whole body parts
as general sweating does but there are some limited body parts that
suffer from this condition—hands feet armpit and facial
area are the most commonly affected parts of the body from excessive
suffering. In women excessive sweating condition starts after the
age of puberty though it may be present to some degree all the time.
The impact of excessive sweating grows worst under stress which
may be psychological or emotional. There are some details about all
these parts being involved in excessive sweating which are as following:
Hand excessive sweating
Excessive hand sweating is the commonest of conditions that comes
into light and it is known as palmar hyperhidrosis in medical terminology.
Around 40% of the people have family history for this problem and
it can have huge impact on your social emotional and functional
level. Though hand excessive sweating is believed to be a psychological
issue but it does increase with emotional stimuli. Excessive sweating
in hands is a major problem and it has direct impact on your performance.
Though there are many treatments for this problem but none of them
are that much effective.
Foot excessive sweating
Feet suffer from excessive sweating and this is known in medical
terminology as plantar hyperhidrosis. Though you may not notice this
problem as it has lesser social impact on the patient but still
it is a problem that needs consideration. There are not many options
for the treatment of this problem but as much as 5% of the people
suffering from excessive sweating suffer from these wet feet. People
who have excessive sweating problem in their feet generally have
their hands in same condition and therefore the treatment can be
beneficial for both the parts.
Armpit excessive sweating
Armpit sweating is another condition which is found in
around 40% of people who are suffering from Palmer hyperhidrosis.
It is known as axillary hyperhidrosis is medical terminology.
The armpit of the human body has two sweat glands known as
eccrine and
apocrine glands. There are different treatments for these different
glands but the percentage of the sure is lesser. Armpit excessive
sweating exists on its own alone; and sometimes is associated
with hand excessive sweating.
Facial excessive sweating
Facial sweating may appear somewhat confusing as there
are many terms that are sometimes linked together though they
may be different--social phobia erythrophobia and rosacea.
Facial excessive sweating generally appears in later teen years and
it is more stimulated
socially.
Obviously it will have great impact on the general personality
of the person and can mar his or her performance in the social
sector.
Treatments
Due to the lesser attention paid to this problem there are not
many comprehensive solutions for it. The research work in the medical
field is limited for heavy sweating and therefore the treatments
do not work on all the patients and many of them suffer from this
condition even after the treatment. Though there are some medicated
antiperspirants which are prescribed by the doctors but it sure
is not a wholesome treatment and lasts generally for short terms.
Before we discuss in detail the surgical treatments that are available
it must be taken into account that patients may have different cases
to undergo surgery and some of them will not be able to do so. Some
points that needed to be checked are:
-
Your overall health age and medical history is necessary
to be taken into account before you opt for a treatment.
-
Severity of the condition should also be noticed which will
determine the nature of the treatment.
-
Your ability to withstand the treatment and also your tolerance
of specific medications and procedures which will be
there.
Surgical treatments
It is widely known that no surgical treatment is free of its side
effects and if you are thinking about some surgical treatments for
excessive treatment then you should think many times before going
for it—surgical treatment for excessive sweating involves multiple
side effects. Let us have a look at some of the common side effects
of surgical treatments for excessive sweating:
1. With the surgical treatments for excessive sweating though you
may be relived from the condition but some other conditions will
arise along with it—compensatory sweating which is also known
as reflex sweating is the condition in which the patient develops
sweat on other parts of the body such as the lower legs thighs
abdomen or the back. It is noted that almost all the patients develop
this condition to some degree.
2. Another side effect associated with surgical treatment of excessive
sweating is gustatory sweating. In this condition the patient will
develop facial sweating while eating spicy or sour foods which in
itself becomes a cumbersome problem.
3. Reduction in heart rate is also one of the side effects of surgery
for excessive treatment and some other side effects include tingling
sensation in the upper arms initial night sweating mild weight
gain though they may disappear with the passage of time.
It goes without saying and also clear from the above facts that
surgical treatments for excessive sweating are not so conducive and
should be avoided.
